New Mama Alert! As one who has enjoyed a decades-long friendship with Lori Greene, I can truly shout from the rooftops about her generous heart and her love for people (and especially babies!) Though my need-for-a-doula days are long over, I have felt the need for support from another human while experiencing a familial change, especially around the death of my mother. At that time, Lori offered the best of all worlds- actual hands-on help, care baskets of food, and cards with uplifting words of comfort. She was a quiet and gentle place for me to express ALL the feelings. Though losing a mom, and becoming one, are like night and day, they BOTH are familial changes that can elicit a myriad of unexpected emotions. Lori was led to serve in this way not only because she is a friend to me, but also because this is WHO SHE IS. Delivering meals to families who are having a difficult time, organizing her neighborhood gatherings, volunteering for more things than I can name here, and always there for her own family, she finds ways to express her kindness and life's purpose through outreach. Lori’s skills go beyond nurturing. She is a calming and non-judgmental presence when one feels vulnerable, and she doesn't hesitate to roll up her sleeves and quietly get things done in an organized and efficient manner.

AMAZING! Lori is the consummate professional and an incredible postpartum doula. Lori has been our postpartum doula for over a month, and her support has been priceless. Lori is extremely kind, intuitive, professional, and supportive, and every time she comes to our house, my baby has a huge smile on his face - he loves her! Did we hire the real Mary Poppins? It sure felt that way when Lori came to help after our daughter was born. Lori was so kind and considerate and knowledgeable that we had no trouble at all trusting her to take care of our little one in these sleep-deprived early days. Not only did Lori make sure I got the sleep I needed, she also gave us advice and assistance with any questions we had about best practices and ways to soothe our baby when she was having some feeding issues. Lori also cooked and cleaned and organized like magic every day she was here. It helped tremendously to have hot meals to eat and leftovers to heat up when I needed that kind of support. The biggest downside is that once she's there, you'll never want her to leave! I couldn't recommend Lori enough for anyone who needs help with their baby.

MIRACLE! MOST LOVING AND CARING! Your entire family will love Lori! Not only is she experienced, professional and diligent, but she is also exceptionally loving, caring, and attentive! We hired Lori twice - first, when our daughter was a newborn, and again, when she turned 3 months. With the newborn, Lori knew exactly how to alleviate the crying spells and wee tummy pain. In fact, the baby hardly cried, and slept like an angel, when Lori was here. At 3 months, Lori was crucial in getting the baby stay on her tummy, roll over more, and meet/exceed her developmental milestones. She educated me in baby care. Moreover, thanks to Lori (her cooking and housekeeping), I was able to rest and recover and spend more time with my 10-year-old son. My entire family wants Lori back! THANK YOU!

Lori truly is one of the best! As a first time mom, Lori was so kind and gentle with where we were as parents and what we were going through. She had tips and tricks for everything and if she didn’t know an answer to one of the million of questions I had, she would research and or ask other doulas!
She cooked, folded laundry, cleaned but most importantly snuggled and loved on our precious little one! If you are in the trenches and or just looking for a little support, you can count on Lori being there, helping guide you through it all!

Lori was exactly what I needed when I didn’t know what I needed. She was at the house the day we came home from the hospital. She helped with navigating what to do with our newborn when we really had no idea what we’re doing. She showed us how to bathe him, swaddle him, use our baby carriers; she organized our house while I slept while also taking care of of the baby. She did our laundry , did errands, and provided so many resources to us as well as Amazon links of items she thought would be most helpful. Truly, I was SO blessed by her presence!
